Department & Purpose Programs  Responsible for fulfilling LADD’s mission to empower adults with developmental disabilities to live, work and connect; engages directly with developmentally disabled adults and their families based on their prescribed individual needs Reports To: Program Manager Stakeholders Internal:  People Served  Coordinators   External:  Families  HCDDS teams   Employee Classification: Non-Exempt   Summary The Direct Support Professional Team Lead (DSP Team Lead) is responsible for assisting the Program Coordinator and functions of the assigned location. .   Essential Functions  Responsible for assisting in the day-to-day operations of the sites o Covers open shifts as needed o Assists with site safety and promotes quality of services o Trains staff on individual service plans, software programs for documentation and service-related/location-specific policies and procedures    Assists with acting as community and family liaison for site, providing follow up communication  Communicates timely with Coordinator regarding pertinent issues and works collaboratively with peers and other departments  Communicates timely and accurately with families and guardian’s regarding changes  Models The LADD Way (TLW)  Represent LADD in a positive manner as appropriate  Keeps up-to-date on all relevant training and certifications  Other admin duties as assigned   Additional Responsibilities  Serves as back-up to program coordinator when necessary and fills in for staff as needed  Serves as an advocate for the organization’s mission and programs in the community   Education/Skills & Experience  High school diploma or equivalent required  Valid driver’s license with fewer than six points, and be insured  CPR/First Aid certified  Medication Administration Certification   Demonstrated progressive supervisory skills Ability to use a computer and related software application platforms   Work Environment & Physical Demands  -Work schedule will vary per location Job -Will include being in an office environment as well as remote sites; and will require travel to other locations
