We are an experienced independent fire and security company. We are based in the south of England and have been trading since February 2007. The DT Fire Systems team work across the whole of the South East, from London to the South Coast, across Surrey, Sussex and Kent. We specialise in fire and security systems, providing solutions to domestic clients as well as businesses in many different industries, including: Industrial and Office Buildings Private and Government funded Schools Hospitals Restaurants and Hotels Managing Agents and Landlords Residential Properties HMO (House of Multiple Occupancy) Job Description As an apprentice, you'll work alongside experienced engineers to install, maintain and fault-find on the following systems: Access Control Video Surveillance Intruder Alarms Fire Alarms Entry Requirements 18+ Driving License required Must pass an enhanced DBS Maths and English required Must live local to GU3 1LZ Training to be Provided This is where you'll learn the skills that employers actually want. Your apprenticeship training is delivered by Skills for Security, specialists in fire and security training. You’ll train through block release at our Watford centre, for one week every eight weeks (Tuesday–Friday). You’ll work towards a Level 3 Fire, Emergency & Security Systems Technician apprenticeship, gaining real skills and a nationally recognised qualification. What you’ll do as part of the programme: Train hands-on with real systems Learn from industry experts Complete a wide range of tasks and projects Build evidence from your job to support your learning Sit annual assessments at the centre Your employer supports you on site. Responsibilities
Work alongside experienced engineers to install, maintain, and fault-find on fire and security systems. Complete a Level 3 apprenticeship involving hands-on training and annual assessments.
