Job Description:
Paul D. Camp Community College is a small 2-year college in Southeast Virginia. Campuses are located in Franklin and Suffolk. There also is a centre in Smithfield. The college offers associate degrees, certificates, and career studies certificates in transfer and career/technical programs; credit and non-credit workforce services and training for businesses and industries; special interest classes for the community; and summer classes for youth through the Regional Workforce Development Center. A dual enrolment program for high school students, online courses, and developmental studies classes are available at the college as well.
This position provides comprehensive coordination of the College’s Dual Enrolment program, promoting educational access, opportunity and success through dual enrolment offerings, to maintain and increase enrolment of public and private high school and homeschool students in the College’s courses and programs.
Reporting to the Vice President of Academic and Student Success, the Coordinator is expected to work in collaboration with high school administrators and staff, College Deans, High School Career Coaches, Institutional Advancement, Institutional Effectiveness, Testing Coordinator, the office of
Admissions and Records and increase the number of public and private high school students and home-schooled students enrolled in PDCCC courses and programs.

Minimum Qualifications:
Demonstrated experience in academic advising, counselling, social services, or adult education. Must demonstrate knowledge of coaching underserved populations to assist them in attaining their educational success. Must possess a valid driver’s license. Willingness to travel between college locations and high schools throughout the service region. Proficient working knowledge of internet applications and PC-based software such as word processing, spreadsheet, and email (Microsoft Office preferred)Additional Considerations:
