Title Dual Rate Server/Supervisor REPORTS TO Food and Beverage Supervisor/Manager SUMMARY The Dual Rate Server/Supervisor is an integral part of the Food and Beverage Team. The Server will provide drinks and menu items to casino guests. He/She is responsible for providing the highest level of customer service and answering inquiries about menu, cocktails, prices, and services of the casino. The Food & Beverage Supervisor assists the Food and Beverage Manager in managing the department to ensure superior guest satisfaction. The F&B Supervisor will assist in overseeing the overall food and beverage operations at the casino. CORE COMPETENCIES * Customer Service * Team Work * Decision Making and Judgement * Supervisory and Mentoring * Interpersonal Awareness * Communication JOB DUTIES * Serving food and beverages to guests following proper guidelines * Interacting with casino guests and responding knowledgeably to inquiries about the menu, prices, services and features of the casino * Assist Food and Beverage Manager in managing the department to ensure superior guest satisfaction. * Assist with scheduling staff. * Assist with Inventory and Cost Control. * Handle customer inquiries and complaints in a quick and effective manner. * Assist with basic restaurant operations. * Able to motivate staff. * Ensure policies and standards are adhered to. * Supervise staff, building morale and fostering an environment of co-operation and efficiency. * Assist with ordering food, including food and alcohol * Assist staff members in dealing with difficult patrons, including any food and or beverage concerns. REQUIREMENTS * At least 18 years of age * Able to maintain a security clearance * Available to work evenings/weekends * ProServe and Reel Fact Certification * Individuals with integrity and high standard * Pleasant, out-going, energetic individuals * Someone who is enthusiastic * Fluent in English * Team player * Easy going personality * Willing to learn WORK CONDITIONS * Must be able to lift a maximum of 25 lbs. using proper lifting techniques – responsible for stocking non-alcoholic beverages * Must be able to stand for prolong period of time. * Must be able to bend to reach shelves * Must be able to carry a serving tray with drinks/food * Must be able to carry out light cleaning duties * Must be available to work all shifts including evenings, weekends and holidays * Must be able to work in a fast-paced working environment
