Dual Registered Manager – Children’s Homes (EBD)
Location: Edmonton, North London
Salary: Competitive + Performance Bonus
Homes: 2 × 3-bed Children’s Homes (currently supporting up to 2 young people per home)
Ofsted: Both homes rated Good
About the Role
We’re seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Manager to oversee two established EBD residential homes in Edmonton. Each home is currently supporting two children and has earned a Good rating from Ofsted. In this pivotal role, you’ll lead with purpose—shaping environments where children with EBD thrive in a culture of personalised support and positive outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic leadership and high-quality management across both homes.
  • Maintain and build upon Good Ofsted standards through excellent care and compliance with regulations.
  • Embed and drive person-centred care plans that include educational and therapeutic support.
  • Mentor and support staff in delivering compassionate, child-focused care.
  • Manage budgets, placement planning, and rigorous safeguarding procedures.
  • Work alongside the Responsible Individual to strive toward Outstanding outcomes.

Requirements

  • Hold (or be working toward) Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management.
  • At least 2 years’ experience as a Registered Manager—or a Deputy Manager ready to step up.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead an Ofsted-regulated children’s home effectively.
  • Deep understanding of safeguarding, care planning, and EBD interventions.
  • Highly organised, resilient, and passionate about child development and wellbeing.
