Instrumentation and Electrical Technicians – BP Kwinana Terminal UGL is seeking experienced Instrumentation and Electrical Technicians to join our established team at BP Kwinana Terminal. You will be executing works across multiple projects as part of our team dedicated to providing innovative solutions. These are permanent positions. About the Role Working Hours: Monday- Friday, with optional weekend work available. Location: BP Kwinana Terminal. Mandatory Requirements To be considered for the role, you must have the following: Current, valid WA Electrical Worker’s License. Certificate III or IV in Instrumentation and Control (UEE31220 Cert III/IV). Certificate IV in Hazardous Areas (EEHA). Current LVR/CPR certification. Construction Card, along with a current and valid driver’s license. Nationally accredited Working at Heights (WAH) certification. Desirable Attributes The following are preferred but not mandatory: Nationally accredited Confined Spaces Entry (CSE) certification. HRL – EWP certification. Brownfields project experience. Key Responsibilities Installation of cable containment, cabling and electrical equipment. Installation of instrumentation & communication systems. Upgrading of current electrical & instrumentation systems. Statutory testing of electrical & instrumentation systems. Demolition & removal of redundant electrical equipment. Read and interpret technical drawings, P&IDs, wiring diagrams, and manuals. Carry out scheduled testing of electrical equipment and installations. Responsibilities
The technician will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and upgrading of electrical and instrumentation systems at the BP Kwinana Terminal. They will also perform statutory testing and interpret technical documentation to ensure project requirements are met.
