Instrumentation and Electrical (Inlec) Technicians – BP Kwinana Terminal UGL is seeking experienced Instrumentation and Electrical Technicians to join our established team at BP Kwinana Terminal. You will be executing works across multiple projects as part of our team dedicated to providing innovative solutions. These are permanent positions. About the Role Working Hours: 38-hour work week with regular rostered overtime up to 48 hours (Mon-Thurs 10 hrs per day, Fri 8 hrs per day). Location: BP Kwinana Terminal. Key Responsibilities Install, maintain, calibrate, and troubleshoot instrumentation and electrical systems. Perform inspections, tests, and repairs on control systems, PLCs, DCS, and field instruments. Read and interpret technical drawings, P&IDs, wiring diagrams, and manuals. Carry out scheduled and preventive maintenance to meet safety and operational standards. Diagnose and resolve faults to minimize downtime and improve performance. Maintain clear, accurate maintenance and repair records. Engage with engineering, operational, and safety teams to ensure continuous improvement. Mandatory Requirements To be considered for the role, you must have the following: Current, valid WA Electrical Worker’s License. Certificate III or IV in Instrumentation and Control (UEE31220 Cert III/IV). Certificate IV in Hazardous Areas (EEHA). Current LVR/CPR certification. Construction Card, along with a current and valid driver’s license. Nationally accredited Working at Heights (WAH) certification. Desirable Attributes The following are preferred but not mandatory: Nationally accredited Confined Spaces Entry (CSE) certification. HRL – EWP certification. Brownfields project experience.
