Responsibilities

OVERVIEW OF ROLE

An informed and impartial perspective to help our clients reach their goals through the design and execution of equity processes.
We provide impartial, expert advice to large and mid-sized corporations, sovereign wealth funds, private equity, families, entrepreneurs and governments. We pride ourselves on providing independent and best in class advice, being seen as a trusted partner, taking a long-term view on the challenges they face.
Our deep understanding of financial markets, the high volume of transactions we advise on, and our unrivalled network of industry specialists in 40 countries, provide clients with a comprehensive perspective to achieve their strategic goals. Our distinct perspective allows us to achieve outstanding results for our clients and act as their most trusted advisers over the long term.
The role advertised here is not akin to a typical ECM role, given the expectation is that the candidate would be advising on ECM products but also fulfilling the role of a generalist corporate finance banker (eg assisting with the business plan, equity story, valuation etc). We think this is an exciting opportunity to work across industries, be more entrenched in an IPO process and be able to operate and add value across all of the workstreams.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Work on multiple transactions and with multiple project teams simultaneously on all critical aspects of transactions, including client development and initial opportunity evaluation, drafting equity stories, building business plans, running weekly calls (project management of transactions more generally), inputting into investor targeting, reviewing databases etc;
  • Researching relevant industries to support the wider team’s marketing initiatives, optimising various sources of information; and
  • Supporting the team to coordinate each transaction process both internally and with other advisors
