Location: Dubai, UAE — candidates should reside or be based within a reasonable commute of Jebel Ali / Jafza or nearby industrial zones. This role requires frequent onsite visits, often on short notice, to support premium clients in the area.

JOB SUMMARY

BDA is expanding—and Dubai is next on our map. We’re seeking a seasoned, entrepreneurial sales leader to spearhead our entry into the UAE market. This is a unique opportunity to represent one of the Top 5 global distributors in the promotional merchandise industry, driving new revenue opportunities, building strategic client relationships, and establishing BDA’s footprint in a growing, dynamic region.
As our Dubai Sales Lead, you’ll be both a trusted strategic partner—identifying growth opportunities, solving client challenges through creative branded solutions, and serving as the face of BDA in the region. You’ll also be a champion of quality and execution, helping us meet high-stakes deadlines with the speed, accuracy, and professionalism our clients can count on.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum 5+ years of successful global client account management and sales experience, with a strong emphasis on new business development.
  • Deep knowledge of the Merchandising/Branding/Promotional Products industry in the Middle East, Dubai, or the UAE market.
  • Experience managing large, complex accounts, preferably with Fortune 500 or high-growth clients.
  • Proven track record of exceeding revenue targets and building trusted partnerships and long-term client relationships.
  • Familiarity with shipping/logistics, supplier management, and regional distribution practices in Dubai.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills; fluency in English required.
  • Professional network in the UAE preferred.
Responsibilities
  • Be a key strategic partner and drive new business development within the Dubai and UAE region. - Utilizing your industry knowledge, connecting and creating spot-on brand merchandising needs for one of our established clients.
  • Act as BDA’s local market expert, bringing deep understanding of industry dynamics, competitive landscape, cultural nuance, and client needs.
  • Build and manage a portfolio of client opportunities, maintaining accuracy to client needs, and delivering phenomenal solutions that enable our clients’ brands to stand out.
  • Collaborate with internal merchandising, creative, and fulfillment teams to deliver tailored client solutions that reflect brand identity and achieve clients’ marketing goals.
  • Serve as a confident industry expert, quickly uncovering opportunities to help our client’s brand thrive through creative, results-driven merchandise strategies.
  • Provide leadership on in-region logistics, including supplier partnerships, shipping coordination, and operational needs unique to Dubai.
  • Ensure accurate and timely delivery of high-quality promotional products, even under fast-moving and high-pressure timelines—without compromising quality or missing delivery expectations.
  • Represent BDA with professionalism and integrity at trade events, client meetings, and industry functions in the region.
  • Share insights and data regularly to inform strategic planning and expansion decisions.
