OVERVIEW

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Dump Truck Driver to join our team. A clean drivers abstract will be needed. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting materials to and from job sites while ensuring the safe and efficient operation of the dump truck. This role requires a strong understanding of heavy equipment operation and commercial driving regulations, as well as a commitment to safety and professionalism.

SKILLS

  • Proven experience in commercial driving with a valid CDL (Commercial Driver’s License).
  • Strong knowledge of heavy equipment operation, particularly dump trucks.
  • Familiarity with forklift operation is a plus.
  • Ability to handle freight efficiently while ensuring compliance with safety standards.
  • Basic automotive repair skills for routine maintenance tasks.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team environment.

Responsibilities
  • Operate dump trucks to transport materials such as gravel, sand, and dirt to designated locations.
  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in safe operating condition.
  • Load and unload materials safely, adhering to all safety protocols.
  • Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including quantities and types of materials transported.
  • Communicate effectively with site supervisors and other team members regarding delivery schedules and site conditions.
  • Perform routine maintenance on the truck, including minor repairs and automotive upkeep as needed.
  • Adhere to all local, state, and federal regulations related to commercial driving.
