JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Groundworker to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong work ethic and be able to perform a variety of tasks related to groundworks, including digging, operating machinery, and assisting with various construction projects. This role is essential in ensuring that all groundwork is completed efficiently and to the highest standards.

REQUIREMENTS

• Proven experience in groundworks or a related field is preferred.
• Strong mechanical knowledge to operate various types of machinery effectively.
• A valid commercial driving licence is advantageous for transporting materials as needed.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Excellent physical fitness and stamina, with the ability to lift heavy loads when necessary.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.

• Dumper: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

• CPCS, NPORS (preferred)

• Carry out excavation and digging tasks as required for various projects.
• Operate machinery and tools safely and effectively, adhering to all safety protocols.
• Assist in the installation of drainage systems, foundations, and other groundworks.
• Maintain a clean and organised work area, ensuring that all tools and equipment are stored correctly.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure project deadlines are met.
• Report any issues or concerns regarding equipment or site conditions to the supervisor promptly.
