POSITION SUMMARY
A Dumpling Chef specializes in preparing a variety of dumplings with precision and craftsmanship, ensuring authentic taste, texture, and presentation. They manage the entire dumpling-making process, from dough preparation to final plating, while maintaining high standards of quality and hygiene.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Proven experience as a Dumpling Chef or in a similar role specializing in dumpling preparation.
- Expertise in traditional and modern dumpling-making techniques.
- Strong knowledge of dough preparation, fillings, and cooking methods.
- Familiarity with food safety regulations and sanitation practices.
- Ability to work efficiently in a high-pressure kitchen environment.

- Menu Development and Customization
- Develop new dumpling recipes, including regional and seasonal variations.
- Adapt recipes to accommodate dietary restrictions or customer preferences.
- Ingredient and Inventory Management
- Source fresh and high-quality ingredients for dumpling preparation.
- Manage inventory to minimize waste and ensure availability of key components.
- Coordinate with suppliers to maintain stock levels of specialized ingredients.
- Quality Assurance
- Ensure dumplings are consistent in size, shape, and flavor.
- Maintain high standards of hygiene and food safety throughout the preparation process.
