Duty Catering Manager
Duties:
- Plan, execute all aspects of catering in a school setting
- Coordinate with staff to understand their specific duties , requirements and preferences
- Oversee the setup, service, and breakdown of catering events and food service
- Train and supervise catering staff to ensure exceptional service and adherence to safety and sanitation standards
- Maintain inventory of catering supplies and equipment, ensuring proper storage and maintenance
- Monitor budgets and expenses to ensure profitability
Skills:
- Strong organizational and time management skills to handle multiple events simultaneously
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with clients, staff, and vendors
- Attention to detail to ensure accuracy in menu planning, event setup, and service execution
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude
- Leadership skills to motivate and inspire a team of catering staff
- Proficiency in computer software applications related to event planning and management
