The purpose of this post is to deliver a quality food and beverage menu within a high turn-over facility, and supporting additional function & private hire events. Hours of work will predominantly be daytime up to 5pm, and will not include Christmas Day.

Duties will include:

• Being responsible for the catering outlets and facilities including Boardwalk Bistro with external seating for 120 covers, Little Darters kiosk for 48 covers, Otter’s Reach café with 20 covers and the Cygnet Suite for private events/hire with up to 180 covers.
• Prepare, cook and deliver food that is consistently of a high standard and well presented.
• The procurement, storage and preparation of all ingredients and foodstuffs as necessary.

Successful applicants will have:

• Experience in the catering industry as a Chef / Assistant Chef
• Knowledge of the design, preparation and cost effective menu planning.
• Experience of instructing and training catering staff within commercial kitchen facilities.
• The ability to work flexibly to support events and activity timetabling.
