SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in a supervisory/management role in a high-volume hospitality environment.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure and resolve challenges quickly.
  • Solid knowledge of health & safety and licensing regulations.

Responsibilities

THE ROLE

As Duty / Floor Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient running of service on the floor, delivering an exceptional guest experience, and leading a motivated team. This role is key in maintaining our standards while creating a fun, welcoming, and safe environment for guests and staff alike.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead and oversee day-to-day floor operations during service.
  • Supervise and support front-of-house staff, ensuring high standards of customer service.
  • Manage staff rotas, breaks, and floor coverage.
  • Be the first point of contact for guest queries, feedback, or complaints, resolving issues quickly and professionally.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene regulations.
  • Handle cash-ups, reports, and opening/closing procedures as required.
  • Support training and development of staff, leading by example with a hands-on approach.
  • Work closely with senior management to hit operational, sales, and service targets.
