Duty Manager – Arthurs of Aughton
Hours: Flexible (20–35 hours per week)
Availability: Must be able to work weekends and key dates
Arthurs of Aughton is a neighbourhood bar and restaurant known for quality drinks & excellent food.. We are looking for an enthusiastic and reliable Duty Manager to join our team. This role is ideal for someone with hospitality experience who is ready to take on responsibility and help us deliver great service every day.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the General Manager in the day-to-day running of the venue
  • Lead and motivate the team during service, ensuring high standards are maintained
  • Open and close the venue, including cashing up and keyholder duties
  • Deliver excellent customer service and resolve issues quickly and professionally
  • Ensure compliance with licensing laws, health & safety, and company policies
  • Assist with stock management, ordering, and monitoring wastage
  • Support staff training and development to maintain a strong team culture

What We’re Looking For:

  • Previous hospitality or supervisory experience (bar/restaurant environment preferred)
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • A hands-on approach and positive, can-do attitude
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and key dates (including bank holidays and festive periods)
  • Reliability and a commitment to maintaining high standards
