Duty Manager – Centra Stillorgan

Join a trusted Irish brand at the heart of the Stillorgan community. We’re looking for an experienced, hands-on Duty Manager to help lead our store, delight customers, and support a high-performing team.

What you’ll do

• Lead by example on the shop floor, ensuring outstanding customer service at all times.
• Oversee daily store operations: opening/closing, cash management, tills, merchandising, and standards.
• Coordinate and motivate colleagues across departments to hit sales, availability, waste, and shrink targets.
• Maintain excellent store presentation: planograms, pricing, promotions, and seasonal displays.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, HACCP, health and safety, and company policies.
• Handle customer queries and escalations with a calm, solution-focused approach.
• Support training, rostering, and performance feedback to build a great team culture.

What you’ll bring

• Proven retail supervisory or management experience, ideally in grocery/FMCG.
• Strong customer focus and a passion for great service.
• Solid commercial awareness with an eye for merchandising and standards.
• Confident communicator who can coach, motivate, and delegate effectively.
• Organised, reliable, and comfortable making decisions in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexibility to work a rota that includes early starts, late finishes, weekends, and bank holidays.
• HACCP/food safety knowledge and cash office experience are an advantage.
