Lady Grey’s is a well-established pub in the heart of Newcastle, known for its welcoming atmosphere, excellent range of drinks, and high-quality service. We are currently looking for an experienced and dependable Duty Manager to join our team, with a focus on managing opening and closing shifts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Take responsibility for opening and closing the venue, including security, setup, and end-of-day procedures
  • Lead and support the front-of-house team during shifts
  • Handle cashing up, banking, and daily reporting accurately
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and well-organised environment for staff and guests
  • Provide excellent customer service and deal with any issues in a calm, professional manner
  • Monitor stock levels and assist with ordering when required
  • Ensure compliance with all health & safety and licensing regulations

Requirements:

  • Experience in a supervisory or management role within a hospitality setting
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate a team
  • Confident in handling opening and closing duties independently
  • Flexible availability, including evenings and weekends
  • A personal licence is advantageous but not essential
