JOB SUMMARY

This role efficiently and profitably manages and directs passenger service activities by providing a safe and productive working environment for ground handling services to its customers and staff alike.

QUALIFICATIONS AND COMPETENCIES

  • Minimum 3 years of passenger service supervisory experience,
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, and Fluent in Hindi and Punjabi.
  • Excellent knowledge of passenger service Operations,
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Transport Canada Security background check,
  • Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills,
  • Leadership ability- demonstrated through previous supervisory experience,
  • Customer focus and quality awareness,
  • Ability to deal with conflict and escalated situations under pressure and tight deadlines,
  • Valid Driver’s License and bondable.

Responsibilities
  • Ensure compliance with all Swissport’s corporate and airline safety and security procedures to meet/exceed regulatory standards.
  • Efficient Resource Planning (manpower, equipment) and managing scheduling,
  • Maintain good relations with customers and airport authorities,
  • Provide support to front-line staff and management.
  • Resolve issues promptly.
  • Coach and train all employees to improve operations effectively,
  • Ensure workforce adherence to company policies and procedures,
  • Accurately perform general payroll updates such as wage adjustments, vacation, banked time, monetary adjustments, etc…
  • Administer new hires, recalls, terminations, and changes via the Dayforce system,
  • Maintain, monitor, and report on agreed key performance indicators (KPIs)
  • Conduct full investigations on irregularities, accidents, or complaints as per our standard reporting requirements.
  • Ensure senior management is promptly informed of important issues, such as flight irregularities.
