Join our supportive leisure team whose job it is to help people live their best lives — whether they’re on holiday, visiting an attraction or treating loved ones to a special experience.   About the Opportunity As a Duty Manager, you will be responsible for the efficient operation of the resort in the absence of the Heads of Departments.  You’ll be a leader for all team members, provide excellent customer service and tend to guests’ and members’ needs in a friendly and professional manner. This position is a permanent full-time role. You’ll be rostered to meet the peak and flow of business demands that will have varied shifts that include evenings, weekends, and public holidays.   This could be just the right role for you?  Provide effective ‘hands on’ leadership to the Front Office, Housekeeping, and relevant teams through the creation of a safe, team orientated, challenging and motivating work environment to deliver high quality member services that provide value and benefit. Assist in the induction and training of staff aligned with RACV policies and procedures. Monitor operation of the property ensuring presentation is always at the agreed standard and compliance with all relevant regulations. Display a strong knowledge of property facilities, services, events and activities, and its local tourism and attractions. Proactively identify, report and control hazards and risks in line with RACV HSW policy and procedure and in consultation with employees. Develop and prepare statistical reports per Management direction. Ability to perform physical requirements of the role, e.g. working on your feet & heavy lifting.   What you’ll need to be successful 1 – 2 years’ experience in a similar role desirable Experience in a 4-5-star hotel or resort, Opera knowledge would be an advantage. A desire to deliver a high level of customer service.
