DUTY MANAGER

Key Responsibilities

  • Support daily operations across all revenue areas, including a high-volume bar, busy bistro, gaming, and events.
  • Lead floor teams, uphold service standards, and drive customer engagement.
  • Collaborate with the General Manager to achieve KPIs, venue performance targets, and compliance outcomes.
  • Train and mentor staff, focusing on supervisors and team leads across FOH and bar.
  • Oversee cash handling, gaming procedures, RSA compliance, and general venue obligations.
  • Assist with stock control, ordering, and service delivery, stepping into any department as needed.

About You

  • Experienced as a Duty Manager in fast-paced pubs, bars, or multi-department hospitality venues.
  • Confident leading teams during busy shifts, including late nights and weekends.
  • Knowledgeable in balancing service excellence with compliance, including RSA and gaming regulations.
  • Customer-focused with the ability to build rapport with regular patrons.
  • Operationally and commercially minded, understanding how strong shift management impacts profitability.
  • Energetic, resilient, and hands-on in your leadership approach.
