We are seeking an experienced Duty Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in hospitality. As a Duty Manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing daily operations, ensuring exceptional customer service, and maintaining high standards of food and drink safety and quality. REQUIREMENTS

  • Proven experience in the hospitality or restaurant industry.
  • Knowledge of cellar maintenance and ideally an interest in beer.
  • Excellent leadership abilities with a focus on team management.
  • Barista experience is a bonus.
  • Ability to muck in with the myriad tasks necessary in a busy pub!
  • Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities
  • Supervise daily operations within the pub, ensuring smooth service delivery.
  • Manage and lead the day’s team, providing guidance and support to junior staff members.
  • Manage busy services ensuring customer satisfaction in both the restaurant and bar.
  • Conducting line cleans, cellar maintenance and liaising with breweries for orders.
  • Handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally, ensuring satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food production and presentation.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the pub.
