JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Duty Manager / Supervisor to assist and oversee our team with the daily operations of our restaurant, South West Pizza Co on Topsham Quay. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in hospitality, demonstrating exceptional leadership skills and a passion for delivering outstanding customer service. This role requires a hands-on approach to managing staff, ensuring food safety standards and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere for guests. This is very much a Customer facing role

REQUIREMENTS

  • Proven experience in restaurant management or a similar supervisory role within the hospitality industry is preferred
  • Excellent leadership abilities with experience in team management and staff supervision. Pushing team morale and teamwork
  • Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with staff and customers. Use Social Media channels to support the promotion of the business
  • Background in hospitality or hotel management is advantageous
  • A passion for delivering excellent service in a fast-paced environment. Join our team as we strive to create memorable dining experiences for our guests!

Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate daily restaurant operations, ensuring high standards of service across customer experience, food and drinks quality. Leading the team from the front
  • Support, manage, lead, train, and mentor staff to foster a positive team environment while promoting professional development.
  • Manage stock & ordering across bar & restauranrt whilst supporting chefs with there orders and inventory’s
  • Monitor customer feedback and implement improvements to enhance the dining experience.
  • Ensure cleanliness and organisation across the bar & restaurant and supporting the kitchen in accordance with food safety standards
  • Handle customer inquiries and complaints with professionalism and courtesy, Delivering a fantastic customer experience
