Join our fabulous team at Tallaght Cross Hotel as Duty Manager (Maternity Leave Cover).
The Duty Manager is an important position working closely with the Senior Management Team.
Tallaght Cross Hotel is nestled right in the heart of Tallaght Cross Town Centre, situated just off the M50, N81 & N7 motorways. With convenient access to & from the City Centre, via the Luas Red Line. The area features retail & apartment living & has the Square Shopping Centre & Tallaght Hospital on either side.
The Duty Manager will be focused on consistently delivering a high quality and excellent service in keeping with the character and ethos of the hotel and will be able to fulfil the customers’ needs and expectations.

REQUIREMENTS

The ideal candidate will possess at least 1 years’ experience as Duty Manager in a 4* hotel setting

Responsibilities

TASKS, DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • To work with the Management Team to ensure the smooth running of the hotel operation on a day to day basis.
  • Effectively lead, motivate and communicate clearly in developing the team.
  • Manage all areas within your remit to ensure positive customer experiences through the implementation of all standards and service culture.
  • Maintain and develop systems, policies and procedures to ensure the smooth running of the business.
  • Available to work a variety of shifts including early mornings, late nights, weekend shifts including Public Holidays.
  • To assist in all Food and Beverage Outlets across the Hotel as required.
  • Responsibility whilst on shift, for all Food & Beverage areas to include planning and coordinating service, supervision and training of team members, cash handling and guest assistance.
  • Be proactive and have a desire to develop standards and promote continuous improvement among employees.
  • Be fully conversant on the daily business and the hotels upcoming business.
  • Ensuring that each department is operating in accordance with the hotel standards and staffing levels.
  • To be fully conversant with all areas connected to Health & Safety and Hygiene.
  • Responsibility for the Health, Safety and security of all guests, team members and the Hotel facilities.
  • Be courteous and professional and focused on providing a consistently high standard of service.
  • To conduct operational training with employees on a regular basis.
