We’re on the lookout for a top-notch Duty Manager to join our team at The Deacon – a vibrant, stylish spot in the heart of Lytham that’s all about excellent service, cracking cocktails, and creating an atmosphere people want to come back to again and again.

Who we’re looking for:

• You’re professional and confident, but always approachable – someone who leads by example and knows how to bring out the best in a team.
• You’ve got proven experience in a similar managerial role, ideally in a fast-paced bar or restaurant setting.
• When things get a bit hectic (as they often do!), you’re the one keeping a cool head, making smart decisions, and staying focused.
• You understand the balance between operational know-how and great customer service – whether it’s stock control, shift management or just making someone’s night with a warm welcome.
• You’re a natural communicator – both with your team and with our guests – and you’re not afraid to get stuck in.

What you’ll be doing:

• Supporting the General Manager in the day-to-day running of the venue.
• Leading, motivating and developing the front-of-house team.
• Ensuring service standards are kept sky-high, even during the busiest shifts.
• Helping to drive sales, manage costs, and make sure everything is running like clockwork behind the scenes.
• Bringing energy, ideas, and a strong presence to the floor.
