  We are seeking an enthusiastic and hands-on Duty Manager to join our dedicated team at our much-loved independent hotel in the heart of Somerset.

ABOUT THE ROLE:

Reporting directly to the General Manager, the Duty Manager will play a key role in the day-to-day running of the hotel. You will be responsible for supporting the smooth operation of all departments – from front office and housekeeping to food & beverage and events. As a visible leader on the floor, you’ll ensure high standards are maintained and guest satisfaction remains our top priority.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Lead by example, setting high standards of service across all areas of the hotel
• Act as the point of contact for guests, handling queries or complaints promptly and professionally
• Support and supervise the hotel team across departments, ensuring efficient daily operations
• Assist with weddings and events, ensuring smooth operational delivery a positive guest experience
• Maintain a strong presence on the floor and be willing to be hands on as part of your day to day role
• Deputise for the General Manager when required
