We are currently recruiting for Duty Managers to join our team at Two Magpies. A small independent business that’s now expanded across Suffolk & Norfolk.
We are looking for a Duty Manager who will help the day to day running, support the general manager develop a team to be self sufficient in this site. The ideal candidate will have a passion for good food, customer service & have the ability to confidently communicate this to our customers.
You will support the senior management team whilst running the day to day operations of the café alongside the General Manager. You will deliver excellent customer service, adopt a ‘can do’ attitude and have an excellent eye for detail. Ideally, you will have experience managing staff and keeping your team motivated & happy whilst working in a fast pace environment.
You will be required to liaise closely with the bakery and back of house team whilst ensuring the cafe/shop is always well presented, tidy & organised. We will open 7 days a week, 8am-5pm so would require flexibility with shift patterns although we always try to honour 2 consecutive days off each week. You will also be responsible for the opening and close downs of the site, day to day cashing up and maintaining food safety documentation and our current company COVID19 procedures.
Previous customer service & experience of making coffee to a high standard would be preferred but on site training can be provided.
Job Type: Permanent
Pay: £30,000.00 per year
