Responsibilities

We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Duty Travel Coordinator to join our Brisbane Operations Control Centre in a permanent full-time role.
In this role, you will manage high volumes of crew, staff, contractor, and passenger travel bookings, ensuring operational efficiency during disruptions while supporting financial and administrative processes. You will also use advanced Excel and multi-platform system skills to reconcile data, analyse On Time Performance (OTP), and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
This position offers opportunities to contribute to departmental projects, cross-train within Allowance Officer functions, and mentor team members, helping drive innovation and efficiency across the OCC.

As the Duty Travel Coordinator, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Coordinate and manage duty travel bookings for employees, contractors, and corporate stakeholders.
  • Communicate travel arrangements effectively and handle changes promptly.
  • Reconcile travel data and expenses accurately, supporting financial efficiency.
  • Respond efficiently to operational events during crew disruptions.
  • Support departmental projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Assist with Allowance Officer functions, including reporting, auditing, and data reconciliation.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with service providers to secure competitive rates and accommodation options.
