City of Atlanta Department of Watershed Management 2026 College Student Summer Internship – Office of Administration Position pay from: $16.75 - $18 Posted Until Filled Internship Details - May 21, 2026 – July 29, 2026 (In-person) General Description: The Office of Administration is dedicated to providing comprehensive support services that ensure the efficient and effective operation of the organization. Our department oversees various administrative functions, including training coordination, budget management, and operational planning. We strive to promote professionalism, organization, and continuous learning within the workplace. As an intern in the Office of Administration, you will assist the Training Supervisors in preparing and executing training courses. This includes creating presentations, drafting email notifications, developing handouts, organizing classroom setups, and supporting the overall logistics of training sessions. You will also gain valuable insight into the budget process, including how to process requests for conferences and training sessions, manage payment inquiries, and track paid invoices. Essential Duties & Responsibilities for the Division of Administration: Responsibilities: These are typical responsibilities for this position and should not be construed as exclusive or all inclusive. May perform other duties as assigned. Assist Training Supervisors with the preparation and delivery of training courses and workshops. Help create and organize training materials, including PowerPoint presentations, handouts, and email communications. Support classroom setup and logistics for in-person and virtual training sessions. Maintain attendance records and assist with tracking training participation. Learn and assist with the department’s budgeting process, including reviewing requests for conferences and training sessions. Help process payment inquiries and track paid invoices in accordance with established procedures. Draft, proofread, and send professional correspondence under supervision. Attend team meetings and provide administrative support as needed. Demonstrate professionalism in appearance, communication, and conduct. Manage time effectively and pay close attention to detail when completing assignments. Perform other related duties as assigned to support the Office of Administration.
