Team / division overview The DWS Entity Close team prepares Head Office financials, including Disclosures and Statistical forms supporting various DWS entities across the globe. The team process manual journals related to tax and other equity transactions, e.g., dividends, capital contribution, repatriation and/or goodwill. It is important to ensure that the sub-ledger systems and subsequent reporting platforms are accurate, complete, and timely submitted through performance of reasonableness check, trending analysis, exception management and understanding of control environment. You can expect a structured training process from our knowledge experts. Our team of experts will be there to support your development to ensure you excel in this role. Your responsibilities – As our Senior Regional Finance Analyst, you are responsible for: Preparation of manual journals in S4 Hana (or existing General Ledger platform). Submission of Head Office and quarterly disclosures and statistical forms. Completion of Management Review Process (MRP) / Balance Sheet Substantiation, Sub-ledger reconciliation, and period over period financial comparison. Provide ad hoc support (e.g., Journal postings, Investigations, report preparations). Manage ad hoc requests and stakeholder management/escalations, if any. Look for opportunities for improvement. We are looking for a candidate who has / is: With a bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance-related courses, preferably CPA. With experience in accounting, audit, or finance gained from Financial Services, or BPO industry would be beneficial. Experience in external audit is a plus. Knowledge of SAP 4/Hana is an advantage. Proficient in MS Excel Strong analytical, problem solving, stakeholder management, and leadership skills. Driven and well-motivated who seeks a challenging career with substantial responsibility.
