Description Study guides, charts and specification sheets and confer with supervisors to determine machine setup requirements. Consult with coworkers to get information about order details, processing plans or problems that occur. Inspect machinery to determine necessary adjustments and repairs. Load and unload machines in a timely manner. Follow ticket instruction given for each roll. Use correct chemicals as specified for each roll. Use specified amount of chemicals as indicated in the procedure. Use dues as specified for specific dye job as indicated in dye procedure. Clean and return all dye barrels and buckets. Inspect rolls during processing for defects. Monitor rolls for creases, bad seams, built up edges or other blemishes and defects. Keep work area clean. Complete all training as required by supervisor and OSHA. Other duties as assigned. Requirements High school diploma or equivalent. Active learning - Understanding the implications of new information for both current and future problem solving and decision making. Active listening - Giving full attention to what other people are saying, taking time to understand the points being made, asking questions as appropriate and not interrupting at inappropriate times. Critical thinking - Using logic and reasoning to identify strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems. Determining causes of operating errors and deciding solutions to make the corrections.
