The position of Dynamics Software Solution Analyst I is an entry level position and marks the beginning of an exciting journey within our team. We are actively seeking a skilled and driven individual to join our expanding services team, where you’ll support the deployment, configuration, and maintenance of our DefenseReady software environments on the Microsoft Dynamics 365 on-premises (formerly CRM) platform supporting our on-premises and IaaS customers as well as the Microsoft Azure Power Platform supporting our SaaS customers.
Job Description:
As a Dynamics Software Solution Analyst I, you will be part of a mission-driven team that designs, implements, and supports the secure and scalable deployment of the DefenseReady platform on top of Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Azure Power Platform for DoD customers. You will work with clients to understand their process needs, document requirements, and map them to existing out-of-the box DefenseReady solutions and design solutions for any gaps based on Dynamics 365 functionality. This role involves configuring DefenseReady modules, translating client use cases into codeable and testable solutions, scoping level of effort, validating developed solutions, providing end-user training and demos, and offering ongoing support. You will be the technical bridge between customer requirements and DefenseReady capabilities. Your primary focus is the DefenseReady product baseline and leveraging the existing solutions to meet customer requirements whenever possible. Your role will require deep understanding of our DefenseReady solutions and the ability to translate client requirements to these existing “out-of-the-box” solutions while being on the lookout for new solution opportunities that will benefit the entirety of our customer base. An ideal candidate has studied software development and information systems engineering disciplines and desires a role that leverages their ability to bridge the art of UI/UX design and customer engagement with the science of agile software development principles and adherence to scalable, multi-tenant architectures and best practices.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Design, Scope, and Plan user-facing solutions leveraging “out-of-the-box” DefenseReady capabilities. (Map the “Fit’ of user requirements to Permuta Readiness Platform and AI offerings)
- Design, Scope, and Plan new user-facing solutions leveraging new DefenseReady configurations/customizations based on Microsoft Dynamics 365 on-Premises capabilities and Permuta best practices. (Define the development “Gap” to add new solutions and capabilities to Permuta Readiness Platform and AI offerings)
- Collaborate with the Product Group, project managers, partner representatives, business analysts, and customer stakeholders to gather, analyze, and prioritize requirements.
- Understand and translate use cases into a combination of existing and new Dynamics 365 on-premises or Azure Power Platform Entities, Attributes, Business process flows and workflows.
- Understand and evangelize how DefenseReady solutions deployed on top of Microsoft Dynamics 365 on-premises and Azure Power Platform leverage HTML/JavaScript web resources to create a modular, scalable, affordable, and extensible solutions framework best suited to meet the myriad of DoD customer needs.
- Perform solution level functional testing and debugging to ensure software quality and reliability.
- Understand and promote the use of existing out-of-the-box DefenseReady solutions and reusable code libraries.
- Ensure the technical feasibility of customer UI/UX designs/requirements against DefenseReady, Microsoft Dynamics 365 on-premises, and Azure Power Platform capabilities, Microsoft published product roadmaps and retirement notifications, as well as Permuta best practices.
- Understand and articulate the impact of design considerations and client data integration requirements on application supportability, speed, and scalability.
- Generate architectural diagrams and additional documentation, as necessary.
- Work alongside other engineers and the Quality Assurance Team to identify and address defects, as well as collaborate, and consistently apply best practices.
- Participate in design reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes and methodologies.
- Support client cybersecurity accreditation efforts by articulating and documenting DefenseReady design specifications, server best practices as well as compliance with RMF, NIST, and DISA STIG requirements.
- Participate in testing and validation of system deployments and upgrades.
- Provide technical support to both internal and client teams.
- Travel for on-site support and client engagements may be required.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Must be a U.S. Citizen living in the United States or its Protectorates.
- Must be able to obtain a U.S. Government Security Clearance.
- 1–2 years of experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 on-premises.
- Working knowledge of:
Windows Server, Active Directory, and networking fundamentals
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications & Skills/Abilities:
- CompTIA Security+ (or willingness to obtain within 6 months of hire)
- Experience with:
Microsoft Azure or other cloud platforms, especially GovCloud/IL environments
- Familiarity with cybersecurity compliance frameworks (RMF, STIGs, NIST)
- Knowledge of .NET Frameworks (C#).
- Proficiency in programming languages such as C#, JavaScript, TypeScript.
- Familiarity with web technologies such as HTML, XML, and CSS.
- Knowledge of querying w/Fetch XML or OData.
- Knowledge of UI/UX Design.
- Knowledge of cross-browser compatibility.
- Knowledge of DevOps Services.
- Knowledge of XRM Toolbox or Kingsway Soft Data Migration Utilities.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, certificates, or equivalent work experience.
- Minimum 1-2 years of related professional experience.

The annual compensation range for this full-time position is $60,000 to $75,499. The final base pay offered to the successful candidate will be determined by factors including, work location, as well as individual qualifications, such as job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
