JOB DESCRIPTION:

We are seeking a highly motivated Dynamo script developer with expertise in Dynamo scripting and Revit API to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a key part in advancing our research and development initiatives. Your proficiency in Revit will be a valuable asset as you work on projects that require building information modeling and digital design solutions.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  1. Bachelor’s degree in architecture, engineering, computer science, or a related field.
  2. Strong proficiency in Dynamo scripting and Revit API.
  3. Solid understanding of BIM workflows and Revit software.
  4. Experience in developing complex Dynamo scripts for automating tasks in the architecture, engineering, or construction industry.
  5. Proficiency in programming languages such as C#, Python, or Visual Basic.NET.
  6. Knowledge of Autodesk Revit and its application programming interface (API).
  7. Familiarity with other design and analysis software (e.g., Rhino, Grasshopper, Navisworks) is a plus.
  8. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  9. Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  10. Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects.

Responsibilities
  1. Collaborate with architects, engineers, and stakeholders to understand project requirements and identify areas where Dynamo scripts can be utilized to automate tasks and improve efficiency.
  2. Design, develop, and implement Dynamo scripts to automate repetitive tasks such as geometry creation, parameter manipulation, data extraction, and model analysis.
  3. Optimize existing Dynamo scripts to enhance performance and reliability.
  4. Create user-friendly interfaces using Dynamo Player or other visualization tools to allow non-technical users to run scripts.
  5. Conduct regular testing and debugging to identify and resolve issues.
  6. Document scripts, including functionality, parameters, and usage instructions, for reference and training purposes.
  7. Stay up-to-date with the latest Dynamo and Revit developments, techniques, and best practices.
  8. Collaborate with the BIM team to integrate Dynamo scripts into the organization’s BIM workflows.
  9. Provide support and training to team members on using and troubleshooting Dynamo scripts.
  10. Continuously seek opportunities for process automation and improvement within the organization.
