WestPier Port Colborne has an opening for a full-time DZ Cylinder Driver for our Industrial Products Division.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Grade 12 education or equivalent.
  • Must be physically fit and able to work extended hours.
  • Ability to lift / carry / push / pull up to 45 lbs.
  • Ability to stand, sit, bend, lift, twist, and climb.
  • Class DZ license or equivalent required.
  • Commercial driving experience and a clean driver`s abstract an asset.
  • Must be able to travel to the USA.
  • Must be able to work independently.
  • Experience delivering gas cylinders an asset.

Responsibilities
  • Complete deliveries in a professional and efficient manner.
  • Load and unload trucks following safety procedures.
  • Maintain vehicle and all equipment in good working order.
  • Maintain electronic logs daily.
  • Perform all pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
  • Follow delivery schedules and routes provided by WestPier.
  • Maintain accurate delivery records.
  • Warehouse duties as assigned.
  • Assist all WestPier divisions and team members as needed to complete the common goal of servicing our customers.
