HIGHLIGHTS:

HOGGTOWN FIRE PROTECTION SUPPLY is looking for an experienced and reliable DZ licensed driver to work from our Ottawa location and deliver throughout the surrounding area.
Shift: MON-FRI 6:00AM- 3:00PM (start and end times are estimates and may change due to business needs)

REQUIREMENTS

• Must possess and be able to maintain a valid Province of Ontario “DZ” Driver’s License. Must have Manual Endorsement.
• Must have experience with 10 Speed Manual Transmission.
• Must have a minimum of three years commercial truck driving experience in a similar vehicle and hauling a similar product and provide an insurance letter of experience
• Boom Truck Crane Experience an Asset.
• For insurance purposes, applicants must be at least 25 years of age
• Provide a copy of a recent and clean driving record (i.e., no major violations) and a CVOR driver abstract (no losses within the last 3 years)
• Ability to lift or move objects up to 23 kg (50 pounds) consistently
• Superior customer service skills
• Proficient in English and able to follow instructions and written procedures
• Delivery driving experience is an asset

  Pay: $32.00-$38.00 per hour

• Assist in loading of truck, verify paperwork and conduct safety inspection
• Deliver order via the most efficient route and document delivery
• Provide effective customer service and communicate effectively with the dispatcher
• Adhere to all applicable safety regulations and comply with all company policies and procedures
• Assist in warehouse as needed (picking/packing orders, warehouse maintenance)
