DZ Professional Delivery Driver - Food Service

LICENCE/CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

• Hold a valid Class DZ Licence (required)
• Minimum of 3 years, recent and verifiable, insured DZ driving experience (required)
• Clean CVOR and driving abstract strongly preferred, as our Risk Management company will pre-qualify drivers prior to employment offers.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Frequent walking, prolonged standing, lifting, bending, and twisting
• Good hand-eye coordination and physical stamina
• Requires physical fitness and the ability to perform manual tasks throughout the shift
  Note: A bona fide requirement of this position is the ability to lift 40 kg (88 lbs.) at any time during the work shift

• Provide exceptional customer service and ensure a positive customer experience at every delivery
• Represent the company with pride and professionalism in all aspects of your work
• Deliver and unload products to customers accurately and on schedule
• Collect and account for payments, including credits, C.O.D.s, and invoices, ensuring accuracy
• Operation of company vehicles and equipment including hand trucks, pallet jacks, aluminum walk ramps
• Build strong customer relationships through friendly and helpful service
• Perform daily pre-trip vehicle inspections and report any unsafe conditions immediately to the Transportation Supervisor
• Operate company vehicles responsibly and safely at all times
• Complete vehicle operator’s log daily
• Strictly adhere to, all company safety policies and procedures, as well as relevant legislation, including the Highway Traffic Act
• Arrive to work on time and in full uniform, including steel-toe work boots
• Perform other duties as required
