POSITION: DZ DRIVER-STRAIGHT TRUCK (SHORT-TERM CONTRACT, LOCAL GTA ROUTES)

Location: Niagara Falls, ON (Start & End Point)
Type: Full-Time, Temporary (4 to 8 Weeks)
Pay: $25/hour + Overtime after 44 hours/week
Shift: 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM (Start time may vary between 5:00 AM and 7:00 AM)
One of our clients is seeking a reliable and experienced DZ Delivery Driver for a short-term contract delivering within the Greater Toronto Area. The role involves operating straight trucks with power liftgates and completing multiple daily deliveries. This is a great opportunity for a driver with a strong safety record and solid delivery experience.

REQUIREMENTS

· Minimum 3 years of verifiable DZ driving experience (required for insurance)
· Valid DZ license with a clean abstract
· WHMIS/GHS and TDG certifications
· Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs
· Comfortable with manual deliveries and safe use of liftgates
· Steel toe safety footwear with green CSA patch
· Cell phone or GPS device required for navigation
· Must be available for early morning shifts and potential overtime
· Must be able to meet in person prior to start

· Operate 22–26 ft straight trucks equipped with power liftgates
· Deliver skids/packages using pump trucks, hand-bombing, and 2-wheel dollies
· Complete run sheets and Vehicle Inspection Reports (VIR) daily
· Follow routes between Hamilton and Mississauga, covering Burlington, Halton, Peel, and Toronto
· Maintain clean vehicle and perform basic truck checks
· Attend a daily pre-start meeting and communicate effectively with dispatch
· Use GPS or cell phone for route navigation
