We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Truck Driver to join our team. We are a growing Waste Management Company committed to professionalism and high-quality service. We are seeking a Reliable and Experienced DZ Driver/Vacuum Truck Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently while adhering to all traffic laws and company policies. This role requires a strong commitment to safety and the ability to handle various types of freight, including heavy equipment. The Truck Driver will also be expected to perform basic maintenance and repairs on their vehicle as needed.

EXPERIENCE/REQUIREMENTS

  • Proven experience in commercial driving with a valid CDL (Commercial Driver’s License).
  • Valid DZ Driver’s license with clean abstract.
  • Ability to perform physical labour and work in all weather conditions.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage time effectively while on the road. Strong understanding of safety regulations and procedures.
  • Excellent communication skills for interacting with team members.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Availability for overtime, weekends, or emergency response work.
  • Experience operating heavy equipment is a plus.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
  • Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including mileage, fuel consumption and delivery times.
  • Operate and Drive vacuum trucks to job sites safely and efficiently.
  • Perform waste removal, and vacuum services at client locations.
  • Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while on the road.
  • Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding service schedules and potential issues.
  • Adhere to all driving regulations while on the road.
  • Perform basic automotive repairs as needed to ensure the truck is in optimal working condition.
