OVERVIEW

At K10 Japanese restaurant, Take away and Deliveries, we are seeking a reliable and dedicated Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate must have previous experience on cargo bikes and will be responsible for transporting goods to various locations (offices) while ensuring timely and safe food delivery. This role requires a strong attention to detail, excellent driving skills, and the ability to handle deliveries efficiently. If you have a passion for providing exceptional service and enjoy being on the road, we would love to hear from you. The schedule is Mondays top Fridays from 8AM to 12PM on average but this might slightly vary. Driving licence needed(full or provisional).

REQUIREMENTS

  • Valid driving licence (or provisional licence).
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage time effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills for interacting with customers and team members.
  • Experience using power tools and hand tools is preferred.
  • Mechanical knowledge is an advantage for handling minor repairs or adjustments.
  • Ability to lift heavy items and perform physical tasks associated with loading and unloading goods.
  • A commitment to safety protocols while on the road and during deliveries.

Responsibilities

  • Load and unload items (crates or boxes containing food) from the vehicle, ensuring all items are secured for transport between K10 sites and offices catering.
  • Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including delivery times and any discrepancies.
  • Communicate effectively with customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays.
  • Conduct routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure safety and reliability.
  • Utilise power tools and hand tools as needed for loading or securing items.
  • Demonstrate mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot minor vehicle issues when necessary.
