Description Summary: The E-Coat Operator must possess basic math, reading and writing skills and be committed to observe and follow all quality and safety procedures. He/She must have good time management and decision making skills. The ability to follow procedures correctly and inspect quality of work is of vital importance. Working well in teams from diverse backgrounds as both a leader and an individual contributor is required. Responsibilities: Inspects and loads parts on the E-Coat line Plugs and masks parts when necessary Full knowledge of "Traveler" information which includes flowing procedures Responsable for keeping track of counts and production paperwork Making sure that Travelers and any other pertinent information is passed along to the next station. Reports any non-conform parts to Quality Department immediately Works with lab on update of chemical and system specs. Assists the E-Coat Lead to make sure rectifier and PLC are set to standard. Qualifications and Experience: Continue to receive ongoing training provided which includes: On the job training, forklift, written and verbal training. Fully aware of Ecoat.us being a premier coating applicator for the HVAC, Oil & Gas, Aerospace, DOD, and General Industrial Markets. With over 180 Unique Processes available, we are able to help with all of your corrosion, abrasion, and weather-ability issues. Skills or Certifications: Full knowledge of Rectifier and PLC Has the ability to lift weights up to 50 lbs. Requirements Work Environment: The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. Work is performed in a manufacturing environment which contains dust and material particles in the air. The noise level in the work environment is medium to loud and may require the use of hearing protection. Temperature in the facility id Cold/Hot at certain times of the year.
Responsibilities
The E-Coat Operator inspects and loads parts on the E-Coat line, ensuring quality and compliance with procedures. They are responsible for tracking production paperwork and reporting non-conformities to the Quality Department.
