THE OPPORTUNITY

We’re looking for an experienced, commercially driven E-Commerce & Digital Marketing Manager to own and grow our online business. This is a leadership role with full responsibility for digital strategy, trading performance, promotional planning, and customer experience across Golden Discs and Vinyl8.
You’ll lead a small in-house team, manage external agencies, and work closely with our senior leadership to deliver ambitious sales growth targets.

ABOUT YOU

This is not an operational role, we are looking for someone with long-term vision and an ability to plan and achieve that vision. You’re a strategic thinker who can roll up your sleeves and execute. You’re equally comfortable in a campaign brainstorm, analysing performance data, or negotiating with an agency.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and build the digital strategy for both brands, to support expected growth metrics.
  • Collaborate with the team – creating compelling campaigns that excite our music-conscious community and drive sales.
  • Build and manage a robust mar-tech stack (SEO, SEM, paid social, email/CRM, affiliates) and agency partners to maximise ROI.
  • Oversee online merchandising – ensuring product listings, imagery, and descriptions are accurate, engaging, and optimised for conversion.
  • Optimise the customer journey across our Shopify stores – improving UX, conversion rates, AOV and customer retention strategy.
  • Devise and implement segmentation and personalisation strategies across channels to drive sales
  • Establish and manage affiliations via agency ensuring performance success and brand fit
  • Leverage analytics via GA4, Klaviyo, and other tools to report on performance and identify opportunities.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with retail operations and marketing to deliver a seamless omnichannel customer experience.
