Description

The E-commerce Manager is responsible for overseeing the online retail operations of a business, ensuring the seamless functioning of an e-commerce platform, and driving growth in online sales. This role requires expertise in digital marketing, user experience, inventory management, and customer service, working cross-functionally with teams such as marketing, IT, product, and logistics.

REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or related field.
  • Proven experience (3+ years) as an e-commerce manager or in a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of e-commerce platforms and web analytics tools.
  • Familiarity with digital marketing channels and SEO best practices.
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills.
  • Ability to analyze data and make data-driven decisions.
  • Strong understanding of customer behavior and online shopping trends.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other productivity tools.
  • Experience in managing budgets and meeting sales targets.

Responsibilities
  • Website Management and Optimization:
  • Oversee the daily operations of the e-commerce site, ensuring functionality and user experience are optimized.
  • Regularly update website content, including product descriptions, images, and prices.
  • Monitor website traffic and conversion rates, implementing strategies to improve site performance.
  • Sales Strategy and Growth:
  • Develop and execute e-commerce strategies to increase online sales and improve conversion rates.
  • Work with marketing teams to design promotions, sales campaigns, and special offers.
  • Conduct market research to identify new opportunities for growth in the digital space.
  • Product and Inventory Management:
  • Collaborate with the inventory team to ensure products are correctly listed, updated, and in stock.
  • Ensure product availability and manage stock levels to meet demand without excess inventory.
  • Customer Experience and Service:
  • Ensure high-quality customer service through timely responses to inquiries and issues.
  • Improve the overall customer journey from site navigation to checkout and post-purchase support.
  • Digital Marketing & Advertising:
  • Plan and manage digital marketing campaigns (e.g., paid ads, SEO, email marketing, and social media).
  • Analyze performance data from digital marketing efforts and adjust strategies to maximize ROI.
  • Analytics and Reporting:
  • Regularly track key performance metrics (KPI) such as sales performance, customer engagement, and traffic sources.
  • Use analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics) to generate reports and identify areas for improvement.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration:
  • Work closely with product, IT, logistics, and customer service teams to align on company goals and operational priorities.
  • Collaborate with graphic designers and content teams to ensure the website and marketing materials align with the brand.
  • Technical and Platform Management:
  • Oversee e-commerce platforms (e.g., Shopify, Magento, WooCommerce) and ensure integration with other tools such as CRM, ERP, and email marketing systems.
