About the Role:
As our Ecommerce Merchandiser, you will own the presentation and optimization of our products across our Shopify site and key sales channels. You will bring strategic thinking to product placement, collections, and listings to increase customer spend, reduce friction in the shopping journey, and ensure a beautiful, intuitive customer experience aligned with our brand aesthetic.
You will analyze site performance, identify opportunities for improvement, and collaborate cross-functionally with Product Design and Marketing to implement merchandising strategies that drive results.
In this role, you will work closely with our UX/UI Manager and Head of Ecommerce to ensure that merchandising strategies align with our company goals and support seamless, intuitive site navigation.

Responsibilities:

  • Strategize and execute product merchandising on our Shopify site to increase AOV, conversion, and seamless browsing.
  • Own new product launches on-site with meticulous attention to detail, ensuring accurate and compelling listings.
  • Implement cross-selling, upselling, and bundling strategies to increase customer spend.
  • Optimize collection structures, filtering, and search to reduce customer friction.
  • Audit and maintain product data, images, pricing, and inventory for accuracy.
  • Leverage analytics to evaluate merchandising effectiveness and identify new opportunities.
  • Partner with Product Design and CX to align merchandising with product launches, promotions, and brand moments.
  • Support merchandising on wholesale and social commerce platforms as needed.

About You:

  • Experienced in Shopify: Confident with backend listing management, product taxonomy, and merchandising capabilities.
  • Highly detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy in product listings and site content.
  • Strategic thinker with an understanding of how visual merchandising and product placement drive customer behavior.
  • Analytical, able to interpret data to inform decisions and measure results.
  • Familiar with SEO best practices for ecommerce.
  • Strong communicator, able to collaborate with cross-functional teams and convey insights clearly.
  • You love beautiful products and want to contribute to a brand that elevates everyday life through intentional design.

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of ecommerce merchandising experience (Shopify preferred).
  • Technologically savvy with reliable home workspace and high-speed internet.
  • Able to work in our Richmond, VA office at least 2 days per week.
