For this role, you will be formally employed through an Employer of Record (EOR) arrangement. We are not an outsourcing agency. All of our roles are 100% remote, so you’ll be able to work from home. Who The Client Is: The client is a provider of premium flooring and window furnishing solutions for residential and commercial spaces. They offer a wide range of products including timber, hybrid, and vinyl flooring, as well as shutters and blinds. Known for their quality, professionalism, and tailored service, they deliver stylish and durable interior solutions from consultation to installation. Role Overview: We’re looking for a commercially minded E-commerce Salesperson to manage and convert inbound enquiries into confirmed sales. This role is ideal for someone who is confident closing warm leads, communicates clearly and professionally in written English, and is comfortable balancing email-based selling with phone conversations during peak periods. You’ll be working with enquiry-driven customers who already have intent, your job is to guide them, remove friction, and close. This role supports an international customer base, with a strong focus on the Australian market. Key Responsibilities: Inbound Sales & Lead Conversion Respond promptly and professionally to inbound enquiries via email and phone Confidently qualify leads and guide customers through the buying process Close inbound opportunities with a target conversion rate of approximately 1 in 3 Handle phone-based sales during peak periods (around 20% of total workload) Customer Communication Deliver clear, concise, and persuasive written communication (email-first role) Maintain a neutral or minimal accent for phone-based interactions Build trust quickly by understanding customer needs and offering appropriate solutions CRM & Sales Operations Accurately log all interactions, notes, and deal stages in the CRM Track leads, follow-ups, and outcomes to ensure nothing falls through the cracks Use spreadsheets and internal tools to support reporting and sales tracking E-commerce & Technical Support (Sales-Focused) Assist with basic website-related tasks such as product uploads or updates (as required) Leverage tools like ChatGPT to draft responses, refine messaging, and improve efficiency Work confidently across multiple systems and platforms with minimal supervision Performance & KPI Management Own your sales numbers and consistently work toward agreed KPIs Monitor close rates, response times, and pipeline health Actively identify opportunities to improve conversion and customer experience Required Skills and Qualifications: Minimum 2–3 years of experience in e-commerce sales, inbound sales, or enquiry-based sales environments Proven experience in e-commerce sales or enquiry-based / inbound sales environments Strong written English skills (majority of communication via email) Confident and comfortable closing warm or inbound leads Experience handling phone sales with a professional, neutral tone Tech-savvy, with hands-on experience using: CRMs Spreadsheets AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT) Website or e-commerce platforms Ability to manage personal KPIs and work toward clear sales targets Market & Regional Experience Experience selling into the Australian market is strongly preferred Experience with UK or US markets is acceptable Comfortable adapting communication style to suit different regions and customer expectations Work Arrangement & Expectations: This is a remote role that will be set up via an Employer of Record (EOR) service.
