JOB DESCRIPTION:

E-Commerce Sales Support Assistant
The Image Scotland Group is a diverse set of businesses based in Musselburgh, East Lothian.
We are expanding and looking to recruit an enthusiastic and outgoing individual to work as an E-Commerce Sales Support Assistant.
In this role you will support customers through the steps in a sale and help resolve any issues or concerns that customers may have. You will also be involved in creating online shops for our customers and making updates and changes as required to the products offered.
Duties and responsibilities of an E-Commerce Sales Support Assistant include:
· Creating and updating customer online shops.
· Answering questions from prospective customers about online purchase process.
· Tracking orders and investigating shipping delays for customers waiting on products.
· Answering questions from existing customers regarding returns of unwanted or faulty products.
· Checking orders placed for any queries or issues.
· Processing refunds and returns.
· Performing data entry duties with regards to sales figures, metrics and other key data.
· Reporting unusual activity to supervisors.
· Updating customer records with new contact details and notes on support interactions.
· Referring complex cases to your line manager.
· Making follow-up contact to inform customers of new or improved products.
The position is based in our production centre in Musselburgh. This is easily reached by car, by bus (Lothian service numbers 26, 30, 44, 46 and 48; East Coast Buses service numbers 113 & 124) or train (Musselburgh and Newcraighall railway stations are nearby).

Some information relating to the role is detailed below -

  • Office based.
  • 37.5 hours per week Monday to Friday around the core hours of 9am to 5pm.
  • 28 days paid annual leave (24 ‘free’ days and 4 days of customary holidays over the festive period).
