Job Summary:
We’re seeking a proactive eCommerce Team Lead to drive Smartpaw’s online sales and lead daily operations. This role focuses on managing platforms like Shopify, Shopee, and Lazada, running marketing campaigns, and guiding a small team to deliver a pet-centric customer experience. You’ll report directly to our founder, ensuring smooth operations and sales growth.
The ideal candidate has 2– 5 years of eCommerce experience, is skilled in hands-on tasks like optimizing listings and coordinating fulfillment, and loves pets. This is a practical, execution-focused role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced SME, not a strategic or corporate position.
Key Responsibilities:

Platform & Sales Management:

  • Manage and optimize product listings, pricing, and promotions on Shopify, Shopee, Lazada, Amazon, and Smartpaw’s website to boost sales and conversions.
  • Run/Oversee digital marketing campaigns (e.g., Google Ads, Instagram,Meta Ads) to drive traffic and achieve monthly sales targets.
  • Track sales performance and customer behavior using analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Shopify reports) to refine campaigns and listings.
  • Explore opportunities to grow online sales (e.g., new promotions, marketplace features)
  • Come up with strategies to improve sales for different sales channel

Team Leadership & Coordination:

  • Lead a small tead by assigning and coordinating tasks like product uploads, customer inquiries, social media posts, and order fulfillment.
  • Guide team members on eCommerce tasks (e.g., optimizing listings, responding to reviews) and monitor progress to meet goals (e.g., campaign performance, delivery timelines).
  • Foster a collaborative, pet-centric team culture, aligning with Smartpaw’s mission to enhance pet lives.

Operational Execution:

  • Oversee order fulfillment, inventory updates, and customer service processes to ensure timely deliveries and high customer satisfaction.
  • Oversee/ Coordinate with suppliers and logistics partners to maintain stock levels and product quality (e.g., pet tech accessories, repair parts).
  • Implement tools or processes to streamline operations (e.g., inventory tracking, order syncing).

Reporting & Communication:

  • Provide clear, actionable reports to the founder on sales, platform performance, and operational updates (e.g., weekly sales summaries, campaign results).
  • Communicate effectively with the team, suppliers, and customers to ensure alignment and a pet-friendly brand voice.

What You’ll Need:

  • Experience: 2–5 years in eCommerce operations, with hands-on experience managing platforms like Shopify, Shopee, Lazada, or Amazon. Experience with digital marketing (e.g., Google Ads, social media) is essential.
  • Practical Skills: Proficiency in Shopify, Google Analytics, and basic marketing tools. Ability to optimize listings, run campaigns, and track sales data.
  • Pet Passion: A genuine love for pets and enthusiasm for Smartpaw’s mission to enhance pet lives.
  • Team Leadership: Experience coordinating or leading a small team (1–2 years preferred, but not mandatory). No extensive managerial or HR experience required.
  • Operational Know-How: Familiarity with fulfillment, inventory, or customer service processes in eCommerce.
  • Proactive Mindset: Ability to take initiative, solve problems, and thrive in a fast-paced SME environment.
  • Communication: Clear written and verbal skills for team coordination and customer interactions.

Nice-to-Haves:

  • Knowledge of Singapore’s eCommerce market (e.g., Shopee, Lazada trends).
  • Experience with pet-related products or retail.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: SGD 3,500–4,500/month
