OVERVIEW

We are seeking a skilled and innovative Junior E&I Design Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in the design and development of advanced systems, ensuring that projects meet both technical specifications and client requirements. This position requires a strong foundation in electrical & instrument engineering and proficiency in various design software tools.

QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS

  • Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, Revit, ) for creating precise designs
  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field (preferred)
  • Proven experience working as an E&I Design Engineer Industry
  • Strong knowledge of electrical / instrument systems and equipment, including ATEX and DSEAR, BS600-79, CompEx, and UK 18th Edition Electrical Regulations
  • Proficiency in CAD software and other design tools
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment

Responsibilities
  • Design and develop electrical systems and equipment in accordance with industry standards and regulations
  • Create technical drawings, schematics, and documentation for electrical systems and equipment
  • Conduct feasibility studies and cost analyses to determine the most effective design solutions
  • Collaborate with other engineers and team members to ensure that all designs meet project requirements and specifications
  • Conduct risk assessments and ensure compliance with safety regulations, including ATEX and DSEAR
  • Provide technical support to other team members and clients as needed
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues as needed
  • Keep up-to-date with advances in technology, industry regulations, and best practices
  • Adhere to project timelines and budgets
  • Provide excellent customer service and communication with clients
  • May be required to travel to various sites in the UK
