TSG STAFFING SERVICES is currently recruiting an ELECTRICAL & INSTRUMENTAL ENGINEER for an opportunity in the Greater Medicine Hat Area in an Operating Plant environment.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in industrial controls, electrical engineering, or a related field required.
  • Eligible for or actively pursuing Professional Engineer (P.Eng) status, or Engineer-in-Training (EIT) with APEGA required.
  • 5+ years of experience in control systems, instrumentation, and electrical design required.
  • Experience with valve and instrument sizing software, Triconex and DeltaV systems, and Microsoft Office Suite is an asset
  • Knowledge of industry codes, regulations, and best practices is required.
    Pay rates or salaries will be based on experience and current market standards. Only selected candidates will be contacted.

    Pay: $90,000.00-$120,000.00 per year

Responsibilities
  • Coordinate instrumentation, control systems, and electrical projects across all stages of the project
  • Develop, design and modify PLCs, safety PLCs (SIS), DCS, electrical systems, and field devices for projects.
  • Size, select, procure, install, and commission equipment.
  • Maintain database, specification sheets, and electrical drawings.
  • Resolve plant issues related to instrumentation, electrical, and control/safety systems.
  • MOC and MCMP procedures to manage plant changes and project progression.
  • Engage in hazard meetings, reliability initiatives, and root cause analysis.
