Role Overview: Orbit International Survey Services LLC (Orbit ISS) is seeking an experienced E&I Lead Electrical Inspector to support Third-Party Inspection (TPI) and testing activities in Dallas, Texas, USA, for industrial and offshore-related projects. Candidates must be currently based in the United States, preferably in Dallas, Texas. The role focuses on leading Electrical & Instrumentation inspection activities, including electrical installations, FAT, SAT, commissioning support, and compliance verification, ensuring full adherence to U.S. electrical codes, project specifications, and OSHA HSE requirements. Key Responsibilities: Lead and supervise Electrical & Instrumentation inspection activities on assigned projects. Inspect electrical and instrumentation installations in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, and ITPs. Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations, NFPA 70 (NEC), NFPA 70E, ASME, IEEE, and project-specific requirements. Witness and verify FAT, SAT, pre-commissioning, commissioning, and site acceptance testing. Review electrical drawings, schematics, wiring diagrams, control logic, loop drawings, and vendor documentation. Verify grounding, bonding, cable routing, termination, labeling, and electrical safety systems. Identify non-conformances, issue NCRs, and verify corrective and preventive actions. Coordinate inspection activities with clients, contractors, vendors, and Third-Party Inspection (TPI) stakeholders. Prepare and approve inspection reports, test records, punch lists, and final certification documentation. Ensure all inspection activities comply with HSE policies, LOTO procedures, and Orbit ISS Quality Management System. Requirements Bachelor’s degree or Associate/Diploma in Electrical or Instrumentation Engineering (or related discipline). Minimum 8–12 years of experience in E&I inspection, with 3–5 years in a Lead Inspector role. Strong experience on U.S.-based industrial, oil & gas, power, or offshore projects. Proven working knowledge of NEC (NFPA 70), NFPA 70E, OSHA, IEEE, and ASME standards. Hands-on experience with FAT, SAT, commissioning, and compliance inspections. Excellent ability to read and interpret U.S.-standard electrical drawings and technical documents. Strong leadership, coordination, and technical reporting skills. Preferred Candidate Requirements: Candidate must be currently based in the United States, preferably in Dallas, Texas, or willing to work within the U.S. without relocation support. Must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Prior experience with Third-Party Inspection (TPI) activities is strongly preferred. Experience interfacing with clients, vendors, and certification bodies in a TPI environment is an advantage.
