We are seeking an experienced Operations & Maintenance Technician to support the operation, maintenance, and reliability of systems in a mission-critical environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in performing preventive and corrective maintenance across a range of mechanical, electrical, and process equipment. This role ensures safety, compliance, and consistent system readiness to support client and facility operations. Responsibilities: Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on equipment and systems in accordance with client guidelines and procedures. Create, maintain, and upload documentation for equipment entering the client’s operational system. Conduct preservation activities on non-operating equipment to maintain system readiness and integrity. Perform safe state verification and complete sign-off for equipment as required. Escalate vendor-required maintenance or preservation activities to client teams to coordinate site visits. Partner with engineers and operations staff to resolve escalations and review maintenance checklists. Respond promptly to equipment shutdowns, alarms, or abnormal conditions; escalate issues when necessary. Conduct facility rounds and record readings on non-automated equipment and systems to ensure proper operation. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, logs, and system performance data. Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned. Skills Required: 2–3 years’ hands-on experience in operations and maintenance within mission-critical or industrial facilities. Broad technical knowledge of mechanical, electrical, or process systems. Ability to troubleshoot, maintain, and escalate issues with equipment and systems effectively. Knowledge of environmental, health, and safety standards in mission-critical environments. Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with engineers, vendors, and operations staff. Attention to detail with accurate documentation and monitoring of system performance. Ability to remain proactive and responsive in fast-paced, high-stakes environments. Education / Licenses / Certifications High School Diploma or equivalent, required. Associate’s, Bachelor’s degree or technical diploma in Engineering, Mechanical, Electrical, or a related field preferred, but not required. Proof of education, licenses, and certifications will be required where applicable.
