About the role: UGL are seeking an experienced E&I Planning Engineer to join our team on an ongoing basis working on a major Oil & Gas project. Commencing ASAP, you will be working a 5/2 roster within Perth CBD, point of hire is Perth, WA. This role will see you develop work packs, planning/scheduling, ITR generation and engineering support on a Brownfields Project. Key Responsibilities: Ensure technical compliance and drive the successful achievement of project outcomes. Actively promote and contribute to a safe, productive, and positive working environment. Provide clear guidance to the Workpacking team, ensuring consistent and aligned delivery. Interpret and apply technical data to support execution. Identify, develop, and present efficiency improvement opportunities for approval and implementation. Navigate technical uncertainties by consulting client representatives to reach mutually acceptable solutions. Liaise effectively with clients, subcontractors, and project stakeholders to ensure technical deliverables are clearly understood and met. Lead educational sessions and technical meetings to embed Industry and Project Standards across the team. Tackle day-to-day challenges with a forward-thinking approach and escalate potential risks or incidents appropriately. Review and contribute to upcoming scopes of work, ensuring safe and compliant execution from design through to completion. Ensure all activities comply with systems and processes, as well as State and Federal regulations. About you: 5+ Years proven experience working on an O&G project. Bachelor's degree in Engineering Commissioning and systems completion experience Strong knowledge of technical documentation, compliance standards, and stakeholder engagement Proficiency in project management software and tools. High level proficiency and working knowledge of Microsoft Power BI and Excel including complex data manipulation and analysis. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment. Familiarity with relevant safety regulations and industry best practices.
